Philip MacCann
Philip MacCann (born 1966) is a British author.
Born in Manchester, he was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and studied Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia under Malcolm Bradbury.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Philip MacCann )〕 His first book, ''The Miracle Shed'' (1995), a collection of short stories, won the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature,〔Robert O'Byrne, "With a swansong in her Hart", ''Irish Times'', 17 June 1995〕 and in 2000 he was awarded the Shiva Naipaul Memorial Prize.
